Welcome

My approach to gardening for the home

Welcome to The Garden House, where I'd like to share with you my approach to gardening for the home. With a background in garden design and horticulture I've identified simple, sustainable ways to bring the productivity and sensory joy of your garden into your everyday life.

In these workshops I'll show you how to do the same. We dispel the overwhelm by working through my curated seasonal tasks together — in good company, at a sensible pace, with coffee in hand.

Hope to see you soon.

Useful or beautiful
& ideally both!

It's the only rule I garden by. If a plant doesn't earn its place, it doesn't stay.
My plants have to work hard as flavour for the kitchen, food for birds & pollinators, stems
for arranging & drying, scent for gifting, leaves for freezing and on.
It keeps the garden honest — and it makes deciding what to grow much easier.

The mornings

Small, sociable and hands-on

We meet at Latchford House in Great Haseley, just off junction 7 of the M40. Mornings run 9.45am to 12.45pm with coffee and home-made treats, and you'll always go home with something you've made yourself.
